Brian Herrington

Brian Herrington serves as the Vice President of External Affairs and Foundation President at The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company since June 2022, overseeing policy and philanthropic initiatives for the leading lawn and garden products marketer. Prior experience includes roles at The Hawthorne Gardening Company as Vice President of External Affairs and Director of Government Affairs, as well as at The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company in multiple government affairs positions. Previous positions also include Assistant Director of Intergovernmental Affairs at the Office of the New York State Attorney General and Deputy Chief of Staff for Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy. Brian Herrington holds a JD from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Latin American Studies from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
