Sarani Illangasinghe

Sarani Illangasinghe has a diverse range of work experience, starting with an internship at Brandix in 2013. Sarani then worked as a Community Development Volunteer at the International Movement for Community Development (IMCD) from 2013 to 2019. Sarani later joined Accenture as an HRO Associate in 2014 and then worked at Emjay-Penguin as an Executive Human Resources from 2015 to 2016.

In 2016, Sarani returned to Brandix and took on the role of Executive Human Resources-Talent Engagement Development, where they were responsible for recruitment, learning and development, employee engagement events, and performance management. Sarani also played a key role in managing the change when Brandix's Athleisure Cluster ventured with Inqube Global.

Sarani's most recent work experience includes working at Hayleys Advantis Limited, where they held the positions of Senior Executive-Talent Management from October 2021 to April 2022 and currently works as a Talent Management Specialist.

Sarani Illangasinghe completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Special degree in Computation and Management from the University of Peradeniya, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. In 2012, they also obtained a CCHRM (Chartered Institute of Personnel Management) certification in Human Resource Management.

In 2021, Sarani enrolled in the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) and earned an Executive Certificate in Human Resources Analytics. Additionally, they attended Pushpadana Girls' College in Kandy from 2000 to 2008, focusing on subjects like Economics, Geography, Drama, and Theater.

Furthermore, Sarani has obtained several certifications, including "Rolling Out a Diversity and Inclusion Training Program in Your Company," "Data-Driven Learning Design," "Hire, Retain, and Grow Top Millennial Talent," "Strategies to Foster Inclusive Language at Work," and "Unconscious Bias." these certifications were obtained from LinkedIn in 2022.
