Jess Smith

Jess Smith currently serves as Chief People Officer for the Americas at Hays, starting in August 2023. Previously, Jess held the position of Director of Global Diversity & People Programs at Meta from January 2022 to January 2023, where leadership focused on employee experience and global programs for early-in-career employees. Prior experience includes serving as Global Head of Talent Analytics & Program Management at Amazon Web Services from July 2020 to December 2021, as well as Global Head of Talent Intelligence and Senior Manager of Program Management at Amazon from 2016 to 2020. Jess's early career included roles in recruitment and finance with IESE Business School, Barclays Wealth and Investment Management, and Johnson & Johnson. Jess holds an MBA from IESE Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Hampton University.
