In 2001, they were an Intern at Nereus Pharmaceuticals. From 2003 to 2008, they attended Columbia University and worked as a Graduate Student, where they conducted organic synthesis of strained, conjugated organic molecules, ring opening metathesis polymerization to form unsaturated polymers, and synthesis of organometallic complexes containing strained ligands. From 2008 to 2010, they were a Post-Doctoral Researcher at Eindhoven University of Technology. From 2010 to 2014, they were a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the University of Oregon, where they were a sub-group leader in the Johnson Lab and developed a toolkit of solution based techniques for the analysis of inorganic nanoclusters. From 2014 to 2019, they were a Scientist III at Cabot Microelectronics. Since 2019, they have been a Senior Research Scientist at Hazel Technologies, Inc. and an Adjunct Professor at Aurora University.
