Dr. Monica D. Diggs

Dr. Monica D. Diggs has been an educator in the Hazelwood School District since August 2004, currently serving as a Teacher in Residency Mentor and Recruitment Coach, where responsibilities include supporting new teachers in professional development, lesson planning, and classroom management. In previous roles within the same district, Dr. Diggs has taught 6th and 7th-grade English Language Arts, utilizing various instructional strategies such as Kagan cooperative learning and Six Traits Writing. Additionally, Dr. Diggs is an Adjunct Reading Instructor at Saint Louis Community College, specializing in Developmental Reading, and has experience as an Independent Beauty Consultant for Mary Kay. Dr. Diggs also served as a Virtual Instructor for the Missouri Virtual Instruction Program. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Reading & Literacy from Capella University and both an MA and BA from Fontbonne University.
