Theresa McElwee

Instructor Of Voice, Speech, Accent & Text at HB Studio

Theresa McElwee is an accomplished voice and speech instructor with extensive experience in academia and performance. Currently serving as an Associate at Cmt-London since June 2017, McElwee also holds positions as an Instructor of Voice & Speech at AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts and an Instructor of Voice, Speech, Accent & Text at HB Studio, both since October 2014 and September 2014, respectively. Additional roles include Voice and Speech Coach for NYU Tisch School of the Arts, AMDA, and HB Studio since September 2012, and Adjunct Professor of Voice & Speech at New York University. McElwee's academic contributions include a stint as a Visiting Professor at Columbia University School of the Arts in 2022. McElwee received a Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting from Yale University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Drama from Eastern Michigan University.
