Robert Ratzlaff

Robert Ratzlaff serves as the Regional Medical Director at HCA Florida Healthcare since September 2022. With extensive experience in medical consultancy, Robert has collaborated with multiple biotechnological leaders and is a member of the advisory board for ABIOMED in Danvers, Massachusetts. Prior to the current role, Robert held positions including Associate Regional Medical Director at Sound Physicians and Chair of Critical Care at Mayo Clinic. Robert's earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Medical Director of the CVICU at Cleveland Clinic. Educational credentials include a Critical Care Medicine Fellowship from Harvard Medical School, a Doctor of Medicine from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, a Master of Science in Microbiology and Immunology from Wright State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Microbiology and Bacteriology from Ball State University.
