Susan Laber has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Susan is currently working as the Division Vice President Nursing Practice & Development at HCA Florida Healthcare since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Nursing Officer at HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital from February 2020 to November 2022. Susan also held the position of Chief Nursing Officer at HCA Palms of Pasadena Hospital from February 2020 to March 2022. Susan Laber has also worked as the Vice President of Quality & Patient Safety at HCA Palms of Pasadena Hospital from December 2018 to February 2020. Additionally, they served as the Chief Nursing Officer at Tampa Community Hospital from October 2013 to December 2018. Before that, they held the position of Chief Nursing Officer at Brandon Regional Hospital from June 2008 to June 2013 and Assistant Chief Nursing Officer from October 2006 to June 2008. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse at the University of Phoenix - Tampa, FL from 2001 to 2003. Later, they went on to complete their Masters in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix between the years 2003 and 2005, specializing in Health/Health Care Administration/Management. Additionally, Susan Laber has obtained certifications from the National Association for Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
