Debra Canales Burbridge

Debra Canales Burbridge, MBA, serves as the Regional Vice President of Strategic Communications and Public Relations for HCA Healthcare's Florida Market, leveraging extensive experience in strategic communications, media relations, and community engagement. With a career at HCA Healthcare beginning in 2008, Debra has played a pivotal role in initiatives such as the brand launch for HCA Florida in 2021 and supporting HCA Houston Healthcare in becoming a market leader. Previous positions include Assistant VP of Strategic Communications and Vice President of Marketing and Communications, where Debra directed large-scale marketing strategies to enhance brand alignment and drive consumer growth. Earlier experience includes serving as Associate Vice President of Physician Recruitment for HCA Physician Services Group and as a Physician Specialty Recruiter. Debra holds an MBA from Texas Woman's University and a BBA cum laude in Marketing from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas.
