Amit Saxena

Amit Saxena has extensive work experience in the legal field. Amit began their career in 1997 as a Deputy Manager-Legal at Escorts Limited. Amit then moved on to work as a Manager-Legal at Tata Tele Business Services from 2002 to 2006. After that, they joined Idea Cellular Ltd as a Circle Legal Head from 2006 to 2008. Amit returned to Tata Tele Business Services in 2008 and held various roles including Regional Legal Head and Head-Legal (Regulatory) until 2014. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as the General Manager-Legal & Regulatory at Tata Tele Business Services. Amit then joined GMR Group as the Head-Legal (Group Corporate) and Chief Compliance Officer from 2017 to 2018. Currently, Amit Saxena is the President & General Counsel at HCL Infosystems Ltd.

Amit Saxena received a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree from CCS (Chaudhary Charan Singh) University. Amit also obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from the same university with a specialization in Labour Laws & Industrial Relations. Amit furthered their education by completing a One Year Program on Strategies in International Business (SIB) at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. Amit also completed a One Year Senior Management Program (SMP) in General Business Administration and Management at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. Amit holds a Master in Business Laws (MBL) degree from the National Law School of India University. Amit has obtained additional certifications, including "Energy Sector: Contractual, Financial & Regulatory Governance in India" from the National Law School of India University and "Peace Building and Conflict Resolution" from Columbia Law School.
