Matt Vensel

Matt Vensel is an experienced journalist currently serving as an Associate Editor at HCPro, where responsibilities include editing and authoring monthly digital newsletters focused on patient and employee safety in the healthcare industry. Prior to this, Vensel was a Vikings beat reporter for the Star Tribune, leading coverage of the Minnesota Vikings and the NFL. Earlier roles include reporting on the Baltimore Ravens for The Baltimore Sun, where Vensel also contributed to audience engagement as Community Coordinator, writing features and managing social media content. Other positions held include reporting for b free daily, serving as a Graduate Assistant at Towson University, and an internship with the Pittsburgh Penguins. Vensel holds a B.A. in Media Studies from Penn State University and an M.S. in Professional Writing from Towson University.
