Daniel O'Connor, RN MBA has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Daniel started their career as a Manager of Clinical Information Systems at the University of Rochester Medical Center in 2000. In this role, they oversaw a team and implemented cross-departmental solutions to improve patient care and facility workflows.
In 2008, they joined United Memorial Medical Center as the CIO. Daniel played a key role in strategic planning and technological direction, as well as managing the budget and IT team. Daniel also developed a strategic IT roadmap and implemented business continuity planning.
In 2010, Daniel joined Stoltenberg Consulting as the Vice President of Client Relations. Daniel worked closely with clients in the health care industry, bridging the gap between current and desired IT capabilities. Daniel served a client base of over 100 health care organizations.
Currently, Daniel is the Vice President of Client Experience at HCTec. Daniel joined the company in 2019 and is committed to delivering flexible workforce solutions to help clients meet their healthcare challenges. HCTec supports value-based care and better patient outcomes through innovative workforce solutions.
Daniel O'Connor, RN MBA, completed their education in a chronological order, starting with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Management from Alfred University from 1982 to 1987. After this, they pursued an Associate of Science degree in Nursing as an RN from Alfred State College - SUNY College of Technology, which they completed from 1992 to 1994. Lastly, Daniel earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School, studying from 2006 to 2007.
