Shazma Palliagath

Shazma Palliagath is currently serving as a Mental Health Counseling Intern at HD Counseling, LLC since January 2023. Additionally, Shazma has been employed by Orange County Public Schools since August 2018, holding positions as a Reading Specialist and a middle school Reading Teacher. Previous experience includes teaching English with VIPKID from January to May 2018 and working as a Student Teacher at Pepin Academies, where Shazma supported 7th and 8th-grade students with exceptionalities from June 2015 to April 2016. Shazma holds a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands and a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and Teaching from the University of South Florida.
