Doug Petteys

Doug Petteys is a Senior BIM Specialist at Hooker DeJong, Inc. Architects, Engineers, Planners, with an extensive background in CAD and Revit management, having served as the CAD and Revit Manager at JDH Engineering from 2003 to 2016. Petteys has a strong foundation in structural drafting, starting as a Structural Cad Technician at Harley Ellis Devereaux and Ehlert Bryan, Inc., and has also contributed to quality control and training material development throughout various roles. Petteys began a career in desktop publishing and marketing prior to entering the structural engineering field, holding positions at Entertainment Publications, Inc. and McElfish-Ridenour, Inc. Doug Petteys earned a BA in Journalism with a concentration in Advertising-Marketing from Oakland University.
