Eric Buddenbohn, CPL

Eric Buddenbohn, CPL has extensive experience in the energy industry, with a focus on land and business development. Eric currently holds the position of Vice President of Land & Business Development at Circle-S Energy, LLC since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as Vice President of Land and Business Development at Headington Energy Partners starting from April 2022.

Before joining Headington Energy Partners, Eric held the position of President at Broadhead Resources, LLC since December 2015. Eric also gained valuable experience at Murchison Oil & Gas, Inc., where they held multiple roles including Vice President of Land from April 2021 to April 2022, Land Manager from November 2017 to April 2021, and Senior Landman from October 2016 to November 2017.

Eric's career in the energy industry began at EXCO Resources, Inc., where they worked as a Landman from July 2011 to November 2015. Prior to that, they served as an Associate Landman at Chesapeake Energy from September 2010 to July 2011 and worked as a Landman at Axia Land Services from May 2010 to September 2010.

Eric's professional journey also includes a brief stint as a Natural Gas Basis Broker Trainee at Choice Energy from May 2008 to August 2008. Through their various roles and contributions at different companies, Eric has developed a strong skill set and expertise in the field of land and business development in the energy sector.

Eric Buddenbohn, CPL attended Nolan Catholic HS from 2001 to 2005, where they did not obtain a degree or specialize in any specific field of study. Following this, they enrolled at Texas Tech University - Rawls College of Business from 2005 to 2010, completing a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on Energy Commerce.

In addition to their educational background, Eric Buddenbohn, CPL has obtained several certifications related to their field. In October 2013, they earned the title of Registered Professional Landman (RPL) from the AAPL- American Association of Professional Landmen. Later, in December 2016, they obtained the certification of Certified Professional Landman (CPL) from the same institution.
