Emily Ryeom

Emily Ryeom is an experienced professional currently serving as Operations Lead at Headway since November 2023, following a tenure as Senior Operations Associate. Prior to this, Emily held various consulting roles at Bain & Company from September 2020 to December 2023, where responsibilities included work as a Consultant and Associate Consultant. Additional experience includes a role as Product Operations Extern at Omada Health and an Associate Consultant position at Bain & Company during a prior internship. Earlier in Emily's career, research roles included work as a Marketing Analyst at Outset Medical, where market models for kidney dialysis were developed, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the MIT Koch Institute, focusing on islet cell transplantation. Emily's academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Biological Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a high school diploma from The Chapin School. Notably, a summer internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center resulted in an Intel STS Semifinalist award for research on the Korean diet's effects on gastric cancer.
