Katie Bess Hilbinger

Katie Bess Hilbinger, MSW, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in customer experience design and improvement, currently serving as a Senior Associate at Headway since January 2022. In addition, Katie operates as a Small Business Owner at Bess Digital Designs since August 2021. Previous roles include Interim Director of the Student Emergency Fund and Assistant Case Manager at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, contributing to student support services from October 2018 to January 2022, and serving as a Behavioral Health Consultant in Campus Health Services during the 2017-2018 academic year. Katie's earlier experience includes positions at The Exchange Club Family Center, as well as a year of service with AmeriCorps VISTA focused on poverty elimination. Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Asheville and a Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
