Cory Jones

Cory Jones has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2007, they worked as the Managing Editor for HolyTaco.com at Break Media. From 2009 to 2011, they served as the Online Editorial Director at Maxim Magazine, where they managed a team and significantly increased website traffic. At Athlon Sports, they worked as the Director of Digital Development from 2011 to 2012. Cory then joined Whalerock Industries as the Editorial Director of Mandatory.com, leading the successful launch and growth of the website. After that, they became the Chief Content Officer at Playboy Enterprises, overseeing content development and strategy for Playboy magazine and Playboy.com. Cory played a key role in the magazine's redesign and relaunch. In 2016, they joined Civilized as the Chief Content Officer, leading the content and marketing strategies for a cannabis and CBD media company. Cory successfully grew the company's digital presence and audience. Additionally, they founded The Statement Group in 2016, a brand strategy consulting firm specializing in quantitative and qualitative analysis. In 2020, they co-founded Healing Maps, a company focused on psychedelic health and wellness, and served as its CEO. Cory also served as a Strategic Advisor for PsyTechSummit, a community platform exploring psychedelic health and wellness. In 2023, they became a Board Member for Healing Commercial Real Estate. Cory Jones has consistently held leadership roles and demonstrated expertise in content development, marketing, and digital strategy.

Cory Jones attended Concordia University from 1994 to 1998, where they received a BA in English Literature.
