Ruth Chun

Ruth Chun has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ruth is currently the Board Chair at Sexual Assault & Violence Intervention Services (SAVIS), where they provide support to survivors of violence and advocates against violence in the community. In addition, they serve as a Director at SLANG Worldwide, Healing Maps, and Entheon Biomedical.

Previously, Ruth was the CEO and Founder of Chun Law Professional Corporation, where they served as legal counsel to both cannabis and non-cannabis companies. Ruth also held the role of Senior Legal Advisor at HEXO Corp and served as the General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Newstrike / Up Cannabis Inc.

Prior to their involvement in the cannabis industry, Ruth gained experience as an Executive - Head of Legal & Compliance at Hollard Insurance Company of Namibia and as a Director at ENSafrica. Ruth began their career as an Associate at Shearman and Sterling.
