Hugo Minera

Hugo Minera has a diverse background in editorial production, animation, and education, currently serving as an Editorial Production Assistant at Health Affairs since May 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Production Art Editor for both the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and the Journal of Biological Chemistry from June 2017 to May 2021. Additionally, Hugo has worked as a Freelance Animator at HJRAnimation and as a Senior Recruiting Consultant for IGDA DC, contributing as a board member to support indie game developers. Other notable roles include Lead Artist for the arcade game show "MAGFest Versus!" and STEM Instructor at Black Rocket Productions, focusing on teaching children various skills in video game design and 3D modeling. Hugo Minera earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management from The Art Institutes between 2013 and 2015.
