Jeff Oxendine has a extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the healthcare industry. Jeff is the founder and CEO of OXS Consulting, where they served as the Chief Executive Officer and President. Jeff also founded and served as CEO of Health Career Connection (HCC), a national non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring and empowering the next generation of diverse health leaders. Jeff has also worked as an Associate Dean at UC Berkeley School of Public Health and as a Lecturer in Management at Harvard School of Public Health. Additionally, they have served as Co-Director at California Health Workforce Alliance and Califonia Health Professions Consortium. Currently, Jeff is the Co-Director of the California Future Health Workforce Commission, where they develop strategic plans to meet California's future health workforce needs.
Jeff Oxendine attended California State University, Chico from 1979 to 1982, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Health Care Management. Jeff then pursued further education at the University of California, Berkeley from 1983 to 1986, earning a dual degree of MBA/MPH. Their field of study during this period was Business and Public Health, with a specialization in Health Management.
