Alice Pollard

Alice Pollard has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Most recently, they serve as the Vice President of Operations and Strategy at the North Carolina Community Health Center Association since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Training Coordinator at the Maternal Health Learning and Innovation Center from June 2020 to May 2022. Alice also has a significant tenure at the North Carolina Community Health Center Association, where they held multiple roles, including Director of Health Access, Program Manager for Health Care Access, and Outreach and Enrollment Coordinator from 2013 to 2020. Earlier in their career, they have worked as a Health Education Counselor at UNC Campus Health Services, Tobacco Treatment Specialist at UNC Nicotine Dependence Program, and Campus Prevention Coordinator at Our VOICE, Inc and UNC Asheville. Alice also has experience as an HIV/AIDS Program Director at the American Indian Health Service of Chicago, Inc, Publications Consultant at Men and Women in Prison Ministries, Housing Advocacy Consultant at AIDS Foundation of Chicago, and Community Outreach at AIDS Foundation of Chicago/National AIDS Fund AmeriCorps Program.

Alice Pollard earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Political Science from Northwestern University from 2003 to 2007. Alice then pursued a Master's degree in Social Work and Public Health with a focus on Maternal and Child Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2011 to 2013.
