Brendan Riley's work experience includes serving as the Vice President of Government Relations and External Affairs at the North Carolina Community Health Center Association since March 2022. Prior to this role, they were the Director of Policy at the same organization from December 2019 to March 2022. Before joining the North Carolina Community Health Center Association, Brendan worked as a Senior Health Policy Analyst at the North Carolina Justice Center from July 2016 to November 2019. Additionally, they held positions at the North Carolina Community Health Center Association as a Health Policy Analyst from May 2015 to July 2016, and as an Outreach & Enrollment Coordinator from September 2013 to May 2015. Brendan began their career at Families USA, where they worked as a Field Associate from August 2012 to September 2013, and as a Wellstone Fellow from August 2011 to July 2012.
Brendan Riley earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a concentration in International Studies from Davidson College in 2011. In 2009, they briefly attended the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Nicaragua to study International Affairs.
