Karen Pryce

Karen Pryce has extensive experience in healthcare operations and management. Karen currently holds the position of Director of Business Development at the North Carolina Community Health Center Association. Prior to this role, they served as the Associate Director of Operations at Pinehurst Medical Clinic, where they managed the operations of medical and aesthetic Dermatology, Endocrinology, and Cardiology.

Before joining Pinehurst Medical Clinic, Karen Pryce held the position of Regional Director of Operations at Duke University Health System, overseeing multiple practices and leading LEAN initiatives to improve efficiencies. Karen also served as the Director of Physician Practice Operations at Pardee Hospital and Blue Ridge Health, where they provided support for daily operations and participated in ACO efforts.

Earlier in their career, Pryce worked at Cone Health as the Director of CHMG, managing multiple practices and a team of direct reports. Karen also served as the Practice Administrator at Central Carolina Women's Center, overseeing daily operations and successfully implementing a rebilling process. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Standards and Regulations at Randolph Hospital, where they managed the JCAHO accreditation processes and played a role in PI program development.

Karen Pryce has a strong background in healthcare operations, with experience in managing multiple practices, improving efficiencies, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Karen Pryce earned their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Meredith College between 1984 and 1988. Karen went on to obtain their MBA and MHA degrees from Pfeiffer University from 1999 to 2001.
