An Nguyen has a diverse and extensive work experience. They started their career as a Manager at TAT Company Ltd in 2011 before becoming an International Student Helper at the University of Bath. In 2012, they joined AIESEC UK as the Local Committee President and Founder. From 2012 to 2013, An worked as an Equity Research Analyst at SISU Capital. After that, they held multiple roles at the University of Bath, including Research Assistant in the Department of Economics and Student Trainer at Skills Training.

An's professional journey continued with positions at the Care Quality Commission, where they worked as a Graduate Analyst from 2014 to 2015. They then joined the Department of Health as an Assistant Economist in 2015. In 2016, An returned to the Care Quality Commission, this time as a Senior Analyst, before being promoted to Analyst Team Leader in 2018.
