Meg Douglas Howie is a Principal Service Designer at Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand, with extensive experience in service design and human-centered design. Previously, Meg held positions as Senior Human Centred Design Lead at Te Pūkenga and Principal Service Designer at Snook, where the focus was on creating positive environments for people and the planet. Meg has also served as Lead Service Designer for the UK Government's digital identity programme, enhancing user-centered approaches. Earlier roles include Service Designer and UX Designer at the Department of Internal Affairs in New Zealand, and a Design and Project Lead for an election engagement platform. Meg's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Design and a Bachelor of Design (Hons) in Visual Communication Design from Massey University, supplemented by a semester abroad at San Francisco State University.
