Alexis Boyd-Holling

Alexis Melbourne is an experienced swim instructor at Sunsational Swim School since September 2022 and also operates Alexis BH Swim, where a focus on safety and enjoyable learning is emphasized for children in their home environment. Alexis served as a practicum student at Columbia College Chicago from September 2022 to May 2023, gaining valuable interpreting experience across various settings while receiving mentorship from seasoned professionals. Prior experience includes working as a preschool teacher at Children’s Learning Place from August 2020 to July 2022, where classroom management and lesson planning were key responsibilities. Alexis holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Sign Language from Columbia College Chicago and a high school diploma from Brentwood School.
