John Geyer

John Geyer has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. John started their career at Learning-Edge, Inc. as a Project Manager, where they managed cross-disciplinary project teams executing multimedia training and information system projects. John then moved on to Avnet CMG as a Project Manager, where they managed a team of software developers and database administrators in executing a series of short-term projects. After that, they worked as a Project Manager at Avnet ISD, where they were responsible for implementing Warehouse Management Systems in support of automated distribution centers. John then joined Avnet Inc. as the Manager of the Project Support Office, where they oversaw a team of Project Coordinators and Tool Development Specialists. John then worked at Triumph Group Inc., first as the Director of Project Management and then as the Director of Lean Manufacturing. At Ducommun Technologies Inc., they served as a Program Manager, leading Integrated Program Teams in the engineering, planning, and execution of customer programs. John then spent a significant part of their career at Belcan, starting as a Senior Project Engineer and eventually becoming the Quality Manager, where they developed and maintained the Quality Management System. Their most recent role is as the Program Director at the Health Product Declaration Collaborative, where they support and advances the Health Product Declaration Open Standard.

John Geyer completed their Bachelor's Degree in English and History at Western Michigan University from 1974 to 1980. John then pursued a Master's Degree in American Literature at the University of Virginia, graduating in 1987.
