Semhal Ghessese

Semhal Ghessese, MD, MPH, currently serves as the Clinical Research Program Manager at Children's National Hospital since April 2023 and has held the position of Clinical Research Specialist II at Boston Children's Hospital since January 2019. Additionally, Semhal Ghessese is the Vice President of the Health Professionals Network for Tigray since December 2020 and previously worked as a Public Health Research Assistant at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis from February 2018 to November 2021. Semhal Ghessese has experience in conducting data collection, analysis, and community health services, with a focus on evidence-based research related to childhood obesity. Semhal Ghessese holds a Master's degree in Public Health from the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis and an MD from Mekelle University.
