Choon Hong Tay has held various roles throughout their work experience. Choon Hong started their career in 2010 as the Director of the Strategies & Projects Unit at the National Population Secretariat. In 2011, they became the Director of Policy & Planning and Director of Marriage & Parenthood Policy at the National Population and Talent Division in the Prime Minister's Office. Prior to their university education, Choon Hong Tay attended Hwa Chong Junior College for a year, but no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for that period.
