Julie Harris

Julie Harris is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as the Deputy Director of Healthcare, Prevention, and Medicaid at Health Research, Inc. since July 2023. Previously, Julie held the position of Director of the Division of HIVSTD/HCV Prevention at the New York State Department of Health's AIDS Institute, a role maintained since August 2016. Additional experience includes serving as Health Program Director at the New York State Department of Health's Office of Health Insurance Programs, and various leadership roles at Alliance for Positive Health from 1997 to 2015, including Interim Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director. Earlier in Julie's career, positions included Coordinator of the AIDS Outreach Project and Assistant Program Director at Unity House of Troy, Inc., and Unity House, respectively. Julie holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of Delaware, earned between 1985 and 1989.
