Juan José Sánchez Aguilar

Juan José Sánchez Aguilar is an experienced professional with a diverse background in technology transfer, gender equity, and violence prevention. Currently serving as a Technology Transfer Technician at the Health Research Institute of Santiago de Compostela and as a part-time teacher at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas, Juan specializes in managing translational research projects and teaching courses on gender-based violence. Previously, Juan has held positions including Senior Fellow at AECID, Independent Consultant for GIZ, and Equality Officer at SOCODEVI, focusing on initiatives that promote gender equality and prevent violence against women. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Economic Development and Innovation from Universidad de Santiago de Compostela and a Bachelor's Degree in Communication for Development from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
