Thomas Harty has extensive experience as an Accounting Manager, primarily in the non-profit sector. Thomas started their career in 1995 at MathSoft Engineering & Education Inc., where they managed the accounting close process and prepared financial reports for SEC filing. From 2002 to 2004, they worked as a Consultant at StudentUniverse.com, reconciling balance sheet and income statement accounts and creating database reports for financial analysis. Thomas then joined Millennium Pharmaceuticals as a Consultant, reconciling accounts and assisting with voucher resolution. Thomas later worked at Psychemedics Corporation as an Accounting Manager, overseeing staff and preparing financial statements. Since 2012, they have been an Accounting Manager at Health Resources in Action, responsible for financial reporting, payroll processing, cash flow analysis, and budget variance analysis. In 2016, they also briefly worked as a Site Coordinator at Quincy Community Action Programs, Inc. throughout the year.
Thomas Harty completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University, where they studied from 1985 to 1990. Following this, they pursued higher education, earning a Master of Business Administration degree in Business Administration from Bentley University between 2004 and 2009.
