Laura Saunders

Laura Saunders is an experienced outpatient coding specialist with a strong background in healthcare coding and billing. Since August 2012, Laura has been employed at HRAA, focusing on outpatient coding in observation facilities and utilizing 3M Encoder for ICD-9 and CPT code assignments. Prior experience includes roles at Stanford University Medical Center, where expertise in emergency department charge capture and diagnostic coding was honed, as well as quality assurance auditing for laboratory requisitions. At Kaiser Permanente, Laura worked as an outpatient professional fee coder, and previous positions involved consulting and managing medical billing processes in oral and maxillofacial surgery practices. Laura's educational background includes a degree in Dental Hygiene from Temple University and training from the Medical Association of Billers.
