Zaynab Jaber, PhD has a diverse work experience that includes roles in both academia and the private sector. Zaynab is currently working as an Assistant Medical Director at Health Science Communications since July 2022 and previously served as a Medical Associate from August 2021 to August 2022.

Prior to their current position, Zaynab worked at the CUNY Advanced Science Research Center from April 2016 to July 2021 as a PhD Candidate and Researcher. Zaynab'sresearch was funded by prestigious grants such as the NIH R01 grant, Early Research Initiative Catalyst Grant, and Doctoral Student Research Grant Award. Zaynab focused on a novel class of blue-light sensing proteins with potential optogenetic applications for light-controlled GPCR regulation and membrane recruitment.
