Hubert Zajicek, MD, MBA has extensive experience in healthcare, engineering, programing, operations and many other fields. In March 2020, they founded the 501(c)3 Health Hacking Crisis Network (HHCN) to address critical shortages and any potential problems that may arise out of the COVID-19 crisis. From 2013-present, they have been the CEO, Co-founder & Partner of Health Wildcatters (HW), a healthcare seed accelerator in Dallas, Texas. Hubert has raised just under $10M in the HW seed-funds and invested in 88 early-stage healthcare companies. From 2006-2013, they were the Managing Director - Medical Technology, Senior Director - Medical Technology, and Director at the North Texas Enterprise Center (NTEC). From 2005-present, they have been a Business Startup Consultant. From 2001-2005, they were a Faculty member at UT Southwestern. From 1997-1996, they were a NIH Postdoctoral Fellow and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Va Health Care Systems, respectively.
Hubert Zajicek, MD, MBA completed their MBA from Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business in 2006, with a field of study in Business - Strategy & Entrepreneurship. Hubert obtained their MD from Medical University of Vienna between 1988 and 1996, with a field of study in Medicine.
