Diane Hopper-Tower, PMP has an extensive background in program and project management. Diane began their career in 1997 at Priority Health as a Sr. Program Manager, Sr. Provider Program Administrator and Sr. Project & Program Manager, Information Technology/PMO. In 2015, they joined Spectrum Health as the Director, Health Education & Decision Making and Sr. Client Services Manager for System Patient Education & Learning. In 2018, they moved to Great Lakes Health Connect as a Project Manager, partnering with leadership, multiple teams and stakeholders to plan, implement and manage a full-scale HIE migration to Intersystems HealthShare and HealthConnect integration engine from multiple legacy platforms. In 2020, they joined Michigan Health Information Network Shared Services (MiHIN) as a Project Manager, partnering with leadership, clients, technology teams and many stakeholders to lead a full-scale data center migration to Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform and a regional client integration migration. Diane is currently employed at Velatura Public Benefit Corporation as a Project Manager, partnering with leadership, clients, technology teams and stakeholders to implement various healthcare interoperability connections to HIE platform. In 2022, they will join HealthBridge as a Program Manager.
Diane Hopper-Tower, PMP, obtained their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Biology from Aquinas College - Grand Rapids between 1980 and 1989. In 2005, they obtained their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from pmi.org. In 2021, they obtained their Agile Foundations and Transitioning from Waterfall to Agile Project Management certifications from LinkedIn.
