Kala K. Shankle

Kala K. Shankle currently serves as the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at HDA - Healthcare Distribution Alliance since September 2023. In addition to this role, Kala is a member of WBL (Women Business Leaders of the US Health Care Industry Foundation) and has chaired the Education Committee for the American Society for Pharmacy Law since January 2018. Previous positions include Attorney at Epstein Becker & Green, P.C., and Assistant General Counsel and Director of Health Strategy and Public Policy at the National Association of Chain Drug Stores. With extensive experience in regulatory and policy matters, Kala has held key roles at the National Community Pharmacists Association and Lockwood Law, where responsibilities included providing legislative guidance and addressing complex healthcare issues. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Florida State University College of Law and a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University.
