Nichola Stefanou

Nichola Stefanou currently serves as a Board Trustee for Laidlaw Schools Trust and as Chief Executive Officer at Healthcare Management Trust since August 2022. Prior to these roles, Nichola was the Director of Complex Care and Clinical at Home Group, overseeing community regulated services and expansion programs, from February 2017 to August 2022. Additional experience includes significant positions in NHS Trusts, including Head of Quality Governance at Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust and Clinical Standards Lead at County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust. With a strong educational background that includes a PhD in Health Services from the University of Sunderland and a Bachelor's degree in Podiatry from the University of Huddersfield, Nichola has a comprehensive foundation in health services and leadership.
