Jo-Ann Strangis has had a successful career in the publishing and healthcare industries. Jo-Ann started their career in 1989 at Little, Brown and Company as an Associate Editor. In 1997, they moved to Cambridge University Press as an Editor. In 1999, they joined WebMD as Director of Content, where they worked until 2008. During this time, they also took on the role of SVP of Content & Audience Engagement at Medscape. From 2008 to 2018, they served as SVP of Content & Audience Engagement at Medscape. In 2018, they joined WebMD again, this time as SVP of Medscape Editorial, Product, and Audience Engagement. Most recently, in 2020, they became the Chief Content Officer at HealthCentral Corporation. Throughout their career, Jo-Ann Strangis has gained extensive experience in content development, audience engagement, and editorial leadership.

Jo-Ann Strangis obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Southern California, completing their education between 1985 and 1989.
