Bhupesh Saini

Bhupesh Saini has over 20 years of experience in product development and software engineering. Bhupesh currently serves as the Director of Product Development at HealthEquity since September 2019. Prior to this role, Bhupesh worked at WageWorks for six years as the Director of Product Development. During their time at WageWorks, they introduced agile development methodologies, implemented DevOps processes, and improved product quality through shift left methodologies.

Before joining WageWorks, Bhupesh was the Director of Software Development at Benefit Concepts, Inc from 2007 to 2013. Bhupesh implemented various tools and frameworks to enhance project scheduling, tracking, and communication processes. Bhupesh successfully led the delivery of a Retiree HRA administrative system and reduced development costs through outsourcing and the use of open-source products.

Earlier in their career, Bhupesh worked as a Development Team Leader at Benefit Concepts, Inc and as a Software Engineer at Rapidigm, where they designed and implemented web-based reporting and data extraction systems. Bhupesh also gained experience as a Programmer/Analyst at Oracle Financial Services Software Limited.

Bhupesh Saini completed their Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Telecommunications from Savitribai Phule Pune University from 1994 to 1998. Prior to that, they graduated from St. Vincents High School Pune with a degree in Science Electronics from 1992 to 1994. Additionally, Bhupesh has obtained several certifications, including Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in February 2020, HSA Expert Certification (HSAe) from HSA Consulting Services, LLC in October 2019, Project Management Professional (PMP)® from the Project Management Institute in January 2013, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in December 2012, ITIL® version 3 Foundation from EXIN INTERNATIONAL in 2011, and Microsoft Certified Solution Developer from Microsoft in 2001.
