David Barksdale

David Barksdale has a diverse work experience history. David started their career at Spread Trade Systems in 2005, working in marketing and sales. In 2007, they joined Fidelity Investments as a financial analyst and strategist, focusing on trading for high-net-worth clients and creating innovative analytical tools. In 2013, they founded their own business, Remigo LLC, which specialized in property preservation and repair. From 2016 to 2019, David worked at HealthEquity Retirement, first as the Head of Retirement Sales and then as the Financial Content Architect & Analysis. During this time, they spearheaded the development of a personal finance curriculum and managed the creation of a new website. Lastly, David joined HealthEquity in 2019 and held various roles, including Manager and Director of Inside Sales, and is currently serving as the Senior Director of Martech & Channel Delivery.

David Barksdale attended the University of Utah from 2011 to 2015, where they studied Mathematics (Statistics Emphasis) and Economics. Prior to that, in 2005, they briefly attended Brigham Young University–Hawaii. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Series 63 and Series 7 from FINRA in 2007.
