Alexandra Perez, PharmD, MBA, BCGP, currently serves as a Medical Science Liaison at Boehringer Ingelheim and has been a Medical Content Reviewer at Healthline Media since November 2020. Previously, Alexandra held various roles at Optum, including Sr. Health Economics Researcher, Principal Data Consultant, and Clinical Regional Pharmacist, providing pharmacy expertise to over 50 primary care providers and communicating evidence-based medication recommendations. Alexandra also worked as a Bilingual Adjunct Professor at Ana G. Mendez University, teaching Pharmacy Technician courses in English and Spanish, and gained experience as a Pharmacy Intern at the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. Alexandra holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Florida and a PharmD from the same institution, along with a BS in Biology from the University of Miami.
