Arni Villanueva Carullo, MPA, MBA-HM has extensive work experience spanning various organizations. From 2022 to the present, Arni served as the Director of Kaizen Promotion Office at HealthPoint (CHC), overseeing continuous improvement initiatives. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2022, Arni was the Health Center Business Director at the same organization.
In addition to their role at HealthPoint, Arni held the position of Board Chair at Global to Local starting in 2022. They also served as a Board Member at the YMCA from 2019 onwards.
Arni's involvement in healthcare extends to their time at Highline College, where they participated as an Advisory Board Member for the Healthcare Program starting in 2016.
Before joining HealthPoint, Arni contributed to the Virginia Mason Medical Center in various roles. From 2014 to 2018, they served as Clinic Manager-Department of Primary Care, and prior to that, from 2009 to 2014, they worked as a Process Improvement Specialist, assisting in curriculum development and data analysis for process improvement initiatives.
Outside the healthcare field, Arni was involved in volunteering positions. They served as the Public Relations Officer-Volunteer for the Filipino (Bicol) National Association of America from 2015 to 2017, and as the Secretary-Volunteer for the Filipino (Bicol) Association of WA from 2014 to 2017.
Arni began their career as a High School Teacher at Saint Mary's Brent Lyceum from 1995 to 1997, and prior to that, they worked as a Document Analyst/Copy Editor at Saztec Philippines from 1997 to 1999.
Arni Villanueva Carullo holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the Alejandro Institute of Technology. They also have a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and a Master's degree in Public Administration from the same institution. Arni further pursued an MBA in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University. In 2020, they obtained a Public Leadership Credential from the Harvard Kennedy School. Additionally, Arni has various certifications including Change Management Certification from Prosci, Public Leadership Credentials from Harvard Kennedy School, and a license in 64th Shingijutsu Japan Genba Kaizen from Shingijutsu. They have also completed courses in Presenting Data and Information, Experience Based Design, Virginia Mason Production System, and Training Within Industry (TWI).
