Peter Mann-King has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Peter is currently the Director of Clinical Quality and Safety at HealthPoint (CHC) since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Swedish, starting as an Assistant Brigade Coordinator at Shoulder to Shoulder, Inc. in June 2011 and worked their way up to become a Care Coordinator at Sea Mar Community Health Centers from March 2012 to July 2014. Peter then served as an Operations Intern at Squirrel Hill Health Center from September 2014 to May 2016. Peter also worked as a Health Care Policy Analyst at the US Government Accountability Office from July 2016 to July 2018. At Swedish, they held various roles including Quality Program Manager from August 2018 to September 2020, Program Manager for the LGBTQI+ Initiative from September 2020 to October 2021, and Manager of the LGBTQI+ Program from October 2021 to January 2023.
Peter Mann-King holds a Master's Degree in Health Care Policy & Management from the Carnegie Mellon University - Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. Prior to this, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Latin American Studies and Spanish at the University of Washington from 2007 to 2011. In 2010, they participated in the Junior Summer Institute (JSI) at Carnegie Mellon University's H. John Heinz III College as part of the Public Policy & International Affairs (PPIA) Fellowship Program. Additionally, Peter has obtained certifications in CPR/First Aid from Sea Mar Community Health Centers in April 2014 and in Motivational Interviewing from King County, WA.
