Elise Edwards

Elise Edwards (nee Hoyer) is a seasoned professional in the fields of diabetes education and exercise physiology, currently serving as a Senior Credentialled Diabetes Educator and Exercise Physiologist at Healthscope since August 2021. In addition to this role, Elise also contributes as a Sessional Lecturer and Tutor at both Mayfield Education and Southern Cross University. Prior experience includes positions at BallyCara, where Elise served as a Senior Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Credentialled Diabetes Educator, and held various roles in academic tutoring and guest lecturing at the University of New England and The University of Queensland. Elise holds a Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sport Science with Honours from The University of Queensland and a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education and Management from Southern Cross University.
