Zafar Syed

Zafar Syed has held various roles in the field of analytics and actuarial analysis throughout their career. Zafar currently serves as the Director of Reporting & Analytics at HealthSmart since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Healthcare Highways, Inc. as a Sr. Healthcare Economics Analyst from June 2019 to November 2021. Before that, they were an Actuarial Analyst at USHealth Group from May 2013 to January 2019. Zafar started their career as an Actuarial Trainee at American National Insurance from January 2012 to May 2013.

Zafar Syed attended Dunbar High School from 2002 to 2006. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Actuarial Science at The University of Texas at Austin, graduating in 2011.
