Bart Cook has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Bart started their career in 1990 as a Physician in the US Army, serving until 1997. In 2000, they joined Pediatric Cardiology of Montgomery as a Pediatric Cardiologist, specializing in neonatal, pediatric, and adolescent cardiology. Bart dealt with congenital heart disease, heart murmurs, chest pain, syncope, hypertension, and high cholesterol. In 2012, they became an Elite HealthTap Medical Expert, providing patients with free access to top doctors through web channels and mobile devices. In 2014, they joined The University of Alabama at Birmingham as an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics. Lastly, since February 2017 until January 2021, they worked as a Medical Peer Reviewer at MES Solutions.
Bart Cook completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business at Auburn University at Montgomery from 1977 to 1980. Bart then pursued their MD degree at Whiddon College of Medicine at the University of South Alabama from 1986 to 1990. Later, from 1997 to 2000, they attended the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University as a Fellow specializing in Pediatric Cardiology.
