Doug Demarra

Doug DeMarra has a diverse work experience in the field of design. Doug is currently working as a Senior Designer at HealthVerity since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Marketing Designer at the same company from July 2021 to June 2022 and as a Marketing Design Specialist from July 2020 to June 2022.

Before joining HealthVerity, Doug ran their own freelancing business called Doug DeMarra Design from January 2018 to July 2020, where they focused on branding/identity projects, web design, social media, email marketing, and various projects for small businesses, non-profit agencies, and local corporations.

Doug also worked as a Designer at Sidecar, an e-commerce marketing technology company, from September 2019 to May 2020. Doug supported the marketing team with various tactics, improvements, and creative challenges.

Prior to that, they worked as a Digital Designer at WSP USA, a global engineering company, from June 2018 to July 2019. Their role involved supporting internal and external communications across multiple end markets within the WSP brand.

Doug has also worked as a Designer at Scheffey, a marketing agency, from January 2014 to November 2017. Their responsibilities included brand identity, creative direction, responsive design, print, illustration, and photography.

Before that, they worked as a Photo Editor at WEBstaurantStore.com from March 2013 to January 2014, and as a Designer at Forge Advertising, Inc. from August 2012 to March 2013. At Forge Advertising, Doug worked on package design, brochure design, logo design, creative development, and mastering of comping.

In addition, Doug had a creative intern role at Pavone, an advertising agency, from February 2012 to May 2012. Doug gained experience in logo design, creative development, publication finalization, page layout, and website graphics during their internship.

Doug's career began as an Art Assistant at Glamour Kills Clothing from January 2010 to April 2010, where they collaborated closely with the art director and owner on various projects including web advertisements, promotional posters, product image updates, type treatment, and ad archiving.

Doug DeMarra attended HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained an Associates degree in Graphic Design.
