Francis Mahmud Namouk

Managing Director, Healthware MedComms & Events at Healthware Group

Francis is a serial entrepreneur whose passion is to improve patient outcomes by focusing on creative storytelling and immersive learning experiences. He has over 15 years of digital comms expertise within the life science and consumer health sector.

His pursuit for creativity started in Paris where he obtained a BFA in visual communications from Parsons School of Design. He soon after earned an MFA in Design and Technology from the New School in NYC. In 2004, he brought his design and technology skills to Everyday Health where he served as creative director for their product, marketing and sales team over a 5 year period.

In 2010 he co-founded Streaming Well, a global video production agency exclusively focused on the healthcare sector, headquartered in the UK. During that time, Streaming Well notably co-produced with Healthware International 15 Minutes of Fury, a short documentary which aims to reduce stigma around mental health conversations in BAME and grass-roots footballing communities across the UK. In 2020, he co-founded SWM, a creative motion lab and consultancy focused on virtual and hybrid experiences, content development and medical education.

In 2021 Healthware Group acquired SWM. Francis is now Global Head of Virtual Customer Experiences for the group and remains Managing Director of SWM. His role is to oversee the strategic and tactical implementation of all Healthware virtual and hybrid customer engagement solutions

Francis was born in the UK but was mainly raised in France and the US. He is bilingual and has a unique cultural background which blends English, Turkish, Egyptian and Jamaican roots – a citizen of the world. He is an avid tennis player, football fan and drummer. He is a member of the Ottoman Dynasty and is also known as Mahmud Namık Osmanoğlu.
